Monthly rentals operate on a 28 day rolling basis.
Mileage allowance on retail hires is 200 free miles per day, 1000 free miles per week or 400 free miles for a weekend hire. Price thereafter is 10 per mile + VAT on all vehicles. Further mileage restrictions may apply to longer rentals.
A deposit is required for vehicles hired as follows: All cars and small vans (group V1) = £100.00. All MPVs (B7, B9), 4x4s (F5, F5A, F6) and other vans (V2, V4) = £200.00. 17 seat minibus (B17) = £250.00
Drivers must be 25 or over for minibuses, large vans or 4x4s; 21 or over for all other vehicles. Under 25s must have held a full licence for at least 2 years. All other drivers must have held a full licence for at least 1 year. All drivers with an overseas license must be a minimum age of 25.
On collection of the vehicle, the driver must produce a full valid drivers licence.
We require two other forms of ID which are current and confirm the hirer's home address such as utility bills, bank or credit card statements etc.
If a hire is cancelled in advance a £24.00 cancellation fee will apply. If a hire is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice the deposit will be retained
Lastly we need a valid credit or debit card to pay for the rental - all the major cards are accepted by Lowestoft Car Hire - Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Switch, Solo etc.
